Televiper A circuitous journey through fog-shrouded lands towards a mysterious destination. Oublieth’s music has a mystical resonance, a clarion call that beckons the lonely traveler ever onward. Have not been this enthralled with a piece of fantasy synth since Tangerine Dream’s soundtrack for “Legend.” Favorite track: Éveil à Mornelance.

Fen Walker A truly ravishing journey. Old school dungeon synth with an emphasis on the synths. I love hearing the Vangelis influence in this as well. Lets not forget the absolutely perfect album art. This album is a masterpiece. Favorite track: L’Alchimiste.

The follow up to last year's highly regarded debut, "À l'Ombre du Royaume en Cendres" continues the path set by "Mornelance", mixing classic dungeon synth with strong influences from Euro synth pioneers such as Tangerine Dream and Vangelis. To further enhance its authentic sound, this album was created using only real analog synthesizers and once again adorned with fantastic cover art courtesy of Stephen Fabian of DnD fame (used with permission and respect).

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks.
